In recognition of that, we have implemented diversity training, continue to work to increase minority vendors and increase the hiring and retention of diverse associates throughout the Saint Mary’s Health Care network.
Our goals are to effectively serve patients from all backgrounds, to encourage the growth of all employees and to embrace and celebrate the diversity of our communities’. We are reaching these goals by providing services for individuals with language difficulties, gaining an understanding of cultural differences, increasing our knowledge regarding health issues that affect minorities and by having a true culture of inclusion.
