Financial Reimbursement Specialist
Under general direction, compiles, analyzes and reports
on hospital reimbursement issues for West Michigan Shared
Services. Performs financial analyses requiring a detailed
knowledge of hospital accounting principles, federal and state
reimbursement regulations, and the third party reimbursement
process. In the absence of the manager, assumes a functional
supervisory role. Thorough knowledge of all hospital systems
impacting reimbursement is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related
field.
