Oh, yes! This little miracle who may change the world is
going to start by changing yours! We'll help you get started
with your new life to make a healthy and happy transition
at home.
Before You Leave
Your postpartum care begins with the knowledgeable guidance
of our nurses and staff. We're ready to teach, listen, and
answer your questions. We'll give you helpful instructions
to successfully breast-feed or bottle-feed your newborn. We'll
show you proper techniques for holding, diapering, and bathing.
While you're here, we invite you to tune into the Newborn
Channel on your in-room TV. It offers 24-hours-a-day programming
with lots of helpful advice.
 Once
You're Home
In the first few weeks as a new parent, questions will undoubtedly
arise. We'll send you home with lots of materials with answers
to the most commonly asked questions. You'll get helpful information
on services and assistance available to you and your baby.
We'll include our video demonstrating the techniques of infant
and child CPR. It's something every parent should know.
Welcome to the Family
When you deliver at The Birthing Center, it may very well
be the start of a long and healthy relationship with Saint
Mary's. We've delivered generations of families. And for generations,
they've made us the provider of all their health care needs.
Once you experience our wonderful care, chances are, you'll
become our newest addition to the Saint Mary's family, too.
