Saint Mary’s Expanding Massage and Acupuncture Services

Grand Rapids, MI, July 1, 2004: – Thanks to continued growth in the demand for Integrated Medicine services at The Wege Institute at Saint Mary’s, massage and acupuncture will now be available at two locations in the greater Grand Rapids area: the office of Rehabilitation Professionals in Cascade and the Advantage Health Physicians Rivertown Office.

This expansion of services beyond the Wege Institute’s outpatient office – which is located at the main campus of Saint Mary’s at 300 Lafayette Ave., Grand Rapids – represents the growing community demand for holistic health resources throughout the region, according to Beth Cosmos, supervisor at The Wege Institute at Saint Mary’s.

“By offering two of our most popular therapies at these two strategic locations, we can better serve our community,” said Cosmos. “Demand has been overwhelming, and we have had to hire several specialists in massage and acupuncture in order to keep up.”

For many years, Saint Mary’s has been the region’s leader in providing a wide range of integrative medicine services. The Wege Institute at Saint Mary’s embodies that focus on holistic health, providing a full-range of innovative holistic therapies on an outpatient basis.
