Patient Services

Chapels and Worship Services

Saint Mary's believes that care for the whole person is important in the healing process; therefore, we care for patients' spiritual healing needs as well as physical, psychological, and social needs. There are a number of services and opportunities available to support spiritual healing.

A professionally trained staff of chaplains is available to support all persons of all faiths during their hospitalizations, as well as their families and significant others. Chaplains are able to provide spiritual guidance, prayer, and moral support.

You can contact our Spiritual Care Services Department at any time by dialing 6338 (in-house) or by asking your caregiver to have a chaplain paged. Chaplains are available 24 hours every day.

Daily Prayer

There are two chapels at Saint Mary's Hospital available for personal prayer.

Marian Chapel is located on the second level of the main hospital building, directly behind the visitor elevators and is open 24 hours a day.

Sacred Heart Chapel is located in Xavier Hall on the third level and is open 6:00a.m. to 1:00p.m.

A Book of Prayer Requests is located in both chapels. Everyone is welcome to use the chapels for prayer and solitude.
